‘A League Of Their Own’ Canceled: Prime Video Not Proceeding With Second & Final Season Amid Strikes

Prime Video is not moving forward with the previously ordered second — and final — season of comedy-drama A League Of Their Own, co-created and starring Abbi Jacobson, Deadline has learned.

Amazon Prime Video has renewed "A League of Their Own" for a second and final season. The queer series from Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson, based on Penny Marshall's 1992 film, will conclude with an abbreviated four-episode Season 2 following months of negotiations with producers Sony TV. The eight-episode first season bowed at once in August 2022 to positive reviews.
