I could not make it past the first few minutes. This episode is too lame. If this is how the series continues to go, I will stop watching it all together.
I'm sorry, y'all didn't like it, but that episode was great! A lot of fun.

A wonderful commentary on how important The Last Frontier (ie the original series and Trek in general) is to its fans and the larger cultural scene, proving that the whole episode was a love letter to the original show.

Episode Two was a remake of "The Squire of Gothos". Last week Star Trek The Walking Dead? This week what ever that was???All of last Season and before established this as the Trek we had been missing. Leaving on a cliffhanger that wrapped it up. Then starting with episode 2 off the rails and going farther every episode? I am starting to be afraid of what Episode 5 will bring? Another jumped the shark in the form of a musical? The reintroduction of a precocious 12 year old prodigy to the bridge?
It just hasn't been running nearly long enough to be anywhere close to be running out of plot ideas.
agree - I nearly didn't finish watching this episode
