Lieutenant Commander Una "Number One" Chin-Riley

Una, also known for various reasons as, Una Chin, later Una Chin-Riley, and has been translated with the identity of both Morgan Primus, and Number One, is one of the first characters presented to us in Star Trek since its first adventure in 1964. She is our second in command for the constitution class Federation and Star Fleet ship Enterprise which is also ironically known as the title First Officer. This however, according to D.C. Fontana, is not why she is named different variations of One, but instead that she is an Illyrian. These people ended up being at odds with the human faction of what became The United Federation Of Planets because of their preference towards Terraforming while The Illyrians preferred Genetic Engineering. Also, The Illyrians primary (pun not intended) identity is numerical, thus every variation of her name is based on that. The war between Star Fleet and The Illyrians had been going on for a while, and continued to go on for a while, due to Jonathan Archer's altercation involving a then rare Warp Drive space travel system. It continued to escalate be cause of a ban on Genetic Engineering in favor of Terraforming, which would clash for the final time during the events of the Star Trek movies made in the 1980s. By the time of those events, Una had already retired from Star Fleet. Much about Una continues to be unknown, partially due to her enlistment and commission at Star Fleet being illegal at the time. By the time James Tiberius Kirk took command, Una left The Enterprise and almost left Star Fleet because of their ongoing persecution of her. To make matters even more fascinating, her image was used in various Star Fleet advertisements. In addition to Una's intelligence and composure, she also has superior strength as well as an enhanced immune system.
