After leaving her successful legal career in Chicago to tackle a new investigative role in New York City, Elsbeth finds herself jockeying with the toast of the NYPD, Captain C.W. Well, who didn't see that last scene coming? That whole subplot didn't make sence, why would a wife of 40 years believe any thing Elsbeth said (a total stranger to her) so easily? And, why didn't Elsbeth question that? Then, Elsbeth told her about the item that was stolen from the police that would prove he was a killer during their second meeting. I'm sure this will be continued thur the whole season with the wife plotting her revenge, maybe ending in a cliffhanger. In the words of Archie Bunker. "Oooo Geez".
