‘English Teacher’ Renewed for Season 2 at FX

The FX comedy series “English Teacher” has been renewed for Season 2, Variety has learned. The series originally debuted on FX and Hulu back in September 2024 to positive reviews. Brian Jordan Alvarez created the series and also stars. Along with Alvarez, the cast includes Stephanie Koenig, Enrico Colantoni, Sean Patton and Carmen Christopher.

Brian Jordan Alvarez Comedy ‘English Teacher’ Picked Up To Series At FX

FX has handed a series order to English Teacher, a comedy created by and starring Brian Jordan Alvarez. Paul Simms (FX’s Atlanta and What We Do in the Shadows), serves as an executive producer on the project, which was originally ordered to pilot in June 2022.
