I like Denis Leary a lot so really wanted to like this show. Too bad it's not funny. It's more awkward than anything as though they are trying to force funny. Only interesting thing is seeing Donna Noble (Catherine Tate). I hated Donna in Dr Who and her accent here is also a bit awkward but I like seeing her in a different character. If this show doesn't start getting better it probably won't last past the 1st season. Sad. Hope Denis Leary finds something better.
Catherine Tate was fucking awesome in *Doctor Who and is the best NuWho companion. There's no accounting for taste I guess.
Also this show is a perfectly cromulent breezy single-cam sitcom.
