A new three-part series in which 29 members of the public undergo ten days of gruelling physical tests in the Trossachs of central Scotland as they train with the world's elite regiment - the SAS.

The 29 members of the public have been whittled down to 16 as they bid to complete ten days training with the SAS. New challenges include evading capture by tracker dogs, search teams and a helicopter. 

The series concludes with the final surviving ten volunteers facing a one-and-a-half mile swim while fully dressed, off-road driving and close-quarters combat before the final challenge - attempting to storm the heavily guarded "Killing House" in the dead of night. 

The SAS's recruitment and training regimen is legendary for its relentless rigour. This second, six-part series relocates to the Borneo jungle, one of the most hostile environments on Earth, as 18 men and six women undergo the brutal selection process re-created by ex-SAS soldiers. Which volunteer will crack on day one?

Day four, and already ten of the original volunteers have dropped out. In part two of the series, Sergeant Eddie Stone and other ex-SAS soldiers put the remaining 14 contenders through 24 hours of physical hell in the thick, hostile jungle of Borneo.

It's the final reckoning for the four remaining volunteers struggling deep in the Borneo jungle. Their ultimate mission is to attack an enemy camp. But whose performance will most impress Eddie Stone and the ex-SAS instructors? 

The Namibian desert is the hostile setting as 24 volunteers subject themselves to weeks of Special Forces training at the hands of battle-hardened Staff Sergeant Eddie Stone. Dermot O'Leary presents the gruelling action as the volunteers embark on their first assignment- a debilitating route march through the searing heat of the desert. 

It's day four of the SAS recruits' notoriously tough training, and they must attack an enemy village before Eddie Stone puts them through hell in the endurance test. Dermot O'Leary follows the 21 volunteers' progress.

On the run after ambushing an enemy force, the volunteers must evade capture if they are to avoid a night of extreme interrogation by army personnel. 

The volunteers launch an attack on enemy forces while coming under fire themselves. Then they have to operate in an area filled with land mines, where they must make some difficult decisions about resultant casualties. 

Are the civilians starting to think like soldiers?

The six remaining volunteers have to capture a terrorist leader who is known to be located in the barren and treacherous Khan River valley.

The final round of punishing tests from the Namibian wilderness sees the four remaining volunteers carry out a solo parachute jump from 11,000ft and raid an enemy camp. Who will be declared "tough enough" to make the grade?
