Wow. So this isn't Dr Carter and this ain't ER folks. I would advise watching E.R. for anyone not familiar. It was less gritty as this is. Not because of any censoring. Rather it was in the 90's. Reagan's assault on medicine were just starting to really hit healthcare to patients and for the people providing. 

Now fast forward 30 years later and Reagan's Brave New World in Healthcare is in full bloom. And this horror show is what we get. And this show accurately depicts Medicine today as E.R. did back in the day. Now that Healthcare is ALL ABOUT THE $$ with patients as nothing more than product and healthcare workers simply facilitators that the rich business class makes sure they constantly remind them they can be replaced cheaper. And this show brilliantly depicts this. So this will replace the recently cancelled New Amsterdam for my medical drama depicting modern day US medicine.
 

So I finally got time to start watching. And I am HOOKED. Great casting, great writing, great everything. Gonna binge the next 14 episodes and then look forward to next season as I checked and it has been renewed!

Can't wait for s02!!

The finale gave me everything I needed and more. Excellent series and amazing cast...and at $5M/episode, you get what you pay for. Can't wait for S02 in January 2026!
