A series of homicides in Piraeus. Police officer Stefanos Leontis receives a tip-off about the whereabouts of "The Ghost", a notorious drug dealer responsible for the spread of RedGhost, a new and very dangerous drug that is claiming many lives, including twenty-year-old Alexandra Lambrinou whose death is being investigated by the task force. Prosecutor Antonis Petratos, aware of Stefanos' unorthodox methods, refuses to issue an arrest warrant for "The Ghost". Despite warnings from his colleagues and the director of the department, Nikos Ragousis, as well as from his wife, Anna Karali, an investigator and assistant prosecutor, from whom he is currently separated, Stefanos decides to proceed with the arrest anyway, disobeying orders.

Anna's grief over Stefanos's death is filled with anger and hatred for her father, Konstantinos Karalis, who never accepted Stefanos as his son-in-law. Stefanos' death also divides his former colleagues in the department. Some are deeply hurt and want to know what went wrong, while others believe that Stefanos got what he deserved since he acted alone and disobeyed the leader's orders.

Living a nightmare, Stefanos attends his funeral, during which he witnesses the pain of the people who loved him, passes by them one by one and tries to see their reactions and understand who cared about him and who wanted him harm. However, among the living, he has a strange encounter. Jason Vergis, a mysterious man who has been in the same situation as him for quite some time, tells Stefanos how he can finally intervene in the world of the living. But this alone is not enough to conduct an investigation. The case of his murder in the exchange of gunfire with the drug dealer, despite the strong protests of his colleagues, is closed.

The police station is not the same after Stefanos' death. It seems that all his colleagues in the team have hidden secrets and therefore anyone could be his murderer. Stefanos suspects police officer Haris Pavlidis, with whom he had a bad relationship. He starts following him and sees him with some rather suspicious guys and tries to find out who they are and what their relationship is with him. At the same time, Anna discovers that there was another woman in Stefanos' life and prosecutor Antonis Petratos, who is in love with her, tries to convince her that her husband was cheating on her. Hurt and disappointed, she begins to rely more on Petratos. Fotini, on the other hand, since meeting Stefanos, questions everything she thought was certain and slowly changes her daily life dramatically.

Anna cannot cope with the loss of Stefanos and is more concerned that she knows nothing about his death and what was really going on in his life in recent months. She decides to find out. Through mysterious apartments and suspicious nightclubs, she tries to find an explanation that will help her understand him. Fotini also tries to find her mother, whom she believed to be dead, to understand the reasons behind the lies of a life and her abandonment. She and Philip secretly enter the clinic where they believe her mother is hospitalized. Stefanos follows them discreetly and tries to protect them and prevent the clinic's managers from discovering them.

News quickly spreads that Stefanos was corrupt, bribed and passed on information to criminals in order to evade arrest. Even the director of the department, Nikos Ragousis, who always loved him like a son, begins to believe that Stefanos had a double life. Believing Stefanos' guilt, Anna confides in the wrong person, Stella, everything she has discovered about her husband and the child she is expecting. A little later, she is shocked to learn that her husband and Stella were in love. She is so angry and disappointed that she even thinks about aborting the baby. Stefanos desperately looks for a way to convince Anna that he loved her and still loves her. Fotini reveals to her aunt Niki that she knows that her mother is alive and pressures her to visit her.

Fotini tries to return to the life she had before meeting Stefanos, when she considered herself normal and had a good time with her friends. She avoids Philippos and goes with her friends to a party at the luxurious house of her ex-boyfriend, Maximos. There, still deeply upset from the failed meeting with her mother, she tries "RedGhost" for the first time. Philippos saves her and Stefanos convinces her to talk to Anna, to tell her that he never stopped loving her and that he had broken up with Stella. He also tells her something else important. Where to find Valeria, a woman who works as a stripper in a club and was involved with Stefanos, whom Anna was looking for in the hope of learning more about his death.

Fotini is confronted with the unexpected return of her mother, who tells her the truth about the past and the reason she abandoned her. Like her daughter, she can see and interact with the dead. Fotini, confused, makes jerky movements that affect her relationship with Philippos as she meets Maximos again and he sees them. Meanwhile, the police are looking for Spyros Avgeris, Stefanos' colleague at the department and supposedly his good friend, since Fotini, through an anonymous phone call, tells them that he is the informant. However, they cannot find him anywhere. Anna is in danger. At her home, next to the Christmas tree, exactly as Stefanos has seen her in his vision, in front of the red ball.

It is eventually revealed that the seemingly impeccable family man and honest police officer, Spyros Avgeris, is a man steeped in illegality and the one who was giving information to the underworld. He is also a murderer, but not Stefanos'. The person responsible for Stefanos' death remains at large, which means that Anna is still in danger. Anna finds and interrogates Valeria, who turns out to have been giving information to Stefanos. She was the one who informed him about the movements of the "Ghost" on the day he died.

Anna focuses on investigating the death of Alexandra Lambrinou and the trafficking of the drug RedGhost, helped by the clues she receives from her "guardian angel" Stefanos, through Fotini. She changes the methods she uses in her work and they are no longer exactly legal. However, this behavior of hers finds both the prosecutor Antonis Petratos and her father, Konstantinos Karalis, opposed. Petratos tries to convince Anna that the way she is handling the case is wrong. However, Anna, who feels the presence of Stefanos more and more, begins an unauthorized investigation, having Stella Karathanou and Haris Pavlidis at her side to support and help her.

It's Christmas. The police find Maximos' body. How and why is the young son of a wealthy family found dead near his home? Who is involved and what does Maximos' death have to do with the cases that concern the police? Philippos meets Fotini and gives her a gift as a sign of reconciliation between them and declares that he believes her. Fotini's mother, Eleni, taking an example from her daughter, finally finds the courage to tell her sister Niki that she can communicate with the dead, which is why she seemed so strange and distant since she was a child. While it seems that Fotini has found the peace she was looking for so much and that everything is finally going well with her loved ones by her side, she learns about Maximos' death. Anna confirms her suspicions that the boy involved in Alexandra Lambrinou's death was Maximos.

While Stella and Pavlidis discover Fotini, she admits to them that she was the one who gave them the evidence they were looking for. Stefanos cannot save Anna without Fotini, whom the duo, Stella and Pavlidis, interrogate. As time passes, Anna is in more danger and the vision Stefanos saw is closer to reality. Anna tries to put all the pieces of the puzzle together but something doesn't add up and she concludes that Petratos cannot have killed her husband. Now Anna is closer than ever to reaching the truth. However, she trusts her thoughts to the wrong person. Stefanos' real murderer. Stefanos is once again by her side and tries with everything he can to stop the murderer. His anger turns into energy that acts against the murderer. Although Stefanos manages to save Anna from certain death, he fails to prevent her from being seriously injured.

But also a strange red book titled "The Brotherhood of the Phoenix". That same night, Philippos goes to the same factory that Stefanos saw in his vision, to meet some of his friends. Their plans are thwarted when a man from the underworld appears. Philippos confronts him.

Leafing through it, she discovers that among the names of those who owed money to the dealer is that of Manolis Saridakis, Philippos' father.

Philip reconciles with Fotini, but their peace does not last long. Fotini has to testify at the trial for Stefanos' death. She is pressured by Ragousis' lawyer, thus losing all credibility as a witness. Ridiculed by acquaintances and friends, Fotini distances herself from everyone, even from Philippos, to whom it is now clear that his girlfriend has feelings for Stefanos. Newspaper publisher Timos Saroglou asks journalist Loukia Athanasiou to approach Haris Pavlidis and extract information about Anna Karali and prosecutor Petratos, because he suspects that they planned Stefanos' murder. Carolina Delimani asks Fotini to talk to her dead son, Maximos, to learn the truth about his death. Stefanos is very worried. Time passes and he still has not figured out who will kidnap his little girl. For the judges, the trial for Stefanos' death is essentially over and Ragousis' acquittal is expected. On the other hand, Lefteris Tzanetos is on the trail of Anna, who continues to elude him. Stella helps her escape. Investigating the disappearance of journalist Loukia Athanasiou, Stella and Pavlidis finally discover what "Phoenix" is...

Haris cannot believe that the girl (Fotini) is really in contact with Stefanos. Meanwhile, Jason Vergis remembers other details from his meetings with Stefanos while he was in a coma, but he does not understand what binds him to him. He talks about this first with his wife Martha and then with Ragousis. In reality, Jason and Ragousis had known each other for a long time. Pavlidis, on the other hand, investigating "Phoenix", understands that Father Symeon (Spyros Avgeris' confessor and supporter while he was in prison) is involved in some way. Timos Saroglou publishes an advertisement in his newspaper - a call for a memorial service. Stefanos understands that it is a coded message for all members of the "Phoenix" brotherhood. While trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together, Stefanos has a new vision of his daughter's kidnapping...

Fotini begins to look at Orestis with suspicion. That's why she calls Stefanos for help, forcing him to interrupt his investigation into the members of Phoenix. The thought that he missed important revelations because of Fotini's call triggers a bitter argument between the two. After the fight with Fotini, Stefanos asks for help from Fotini's mother, Eleni, and the two discover all the members of the dangerous brotherhood and the leader. Meanwhile, Anna tries to find out who tampered with the evidence at the trial, allowing Ragousis to be released from prison and Petratos to be accused of Stefanos' death.

Eleni, aided by Stefanos, goes to Father Simeon with the aim of making him reveal everything he knows about the Phoenix Brotherhood. Ragousis, now acquitted of Stefanos' murder, escapes from prison and goes to his house, where he hides a secret file with information about his men and also the red book of the Phoenix Brotherhood that contains the names of the members and their illegal actions. Stefanos realizes that Ragousis' accomplice was Jason. In flashbacks we see Jason involved in a robbery instigated by Ragousis, Martha pregnant with his child ready to marry him and the gunshot to the head that put him in a coma. Jason would then witness the birth of his son as a spirit, whom Martha leaves in the hands of Ragousis, who in turn is placed in an orphanage. The newborn was given the name... Stefanos Leontis...

Jason, who was taken to the police station for clarification regarding the murder of Ragousis, is interrogated by Lefteris Tzanetos and Pavlidis. He admits that he committed the robbery but the crime has now been statute barred. Anna, in the cell, talks to Tzanetos. There is no convincing evidence to move against the new prosecutor Sotiris Kastrinos and no one would support them. Tzanetos suggests that the only way to proceed with the investigation without obstacles is to convince the general director of the homicide department to stand by their side. Eleni, reading Orestis' thesis, discovers that he investigated her case by going to the clinic where she remained hospitalized for years. Meanwhile, Fotini meets her aunt Niki and takes advantage of the opportunity to steal the keys to the new prosecutor's house from her bag.

Stefanos has realized that the person who shot his father in the past is the same person who killed the drug dealer in the old factory. He shot Jason after he had stolen the book of the Phoenix brotherhood with all their illegal transactions. Fotini secretly enters Kastrinos' house to find evidence. Martha, in desperation, kidnaps little Fotini. Anna and Tzanetos try to stop Martha, who is accompanied by Jason, who also intends to bring the little girl back to Anna. Tzanetos and Anna finally have the evidence to arrest all the members of the Phoenix brotherhood. Pavlidis and Stella take it on with great satisfaction. Anna, who had realized that Stefanos was watching her, asks him to leave, because his presence prevents her from following her own path. Orestis convinces Fotini to leave together...
