Barrera de Amor

Barrera de Amor revolves around María Teresa "Maité" Galván, a humble and hardworking young woman played by Yadhira Carrillo, who lives in the town of Santa María, Aguascalientes, and works at her aunt's fonda. She becomes engaged to Luis Antonio Romero, a widowed veterinarian and single father portrayed by Sergio Reynoso, but their romance is shattered when Maité is assaulted by the wealthy and arrogant Adolfo Valladolid (Gerardo Murguía), resulting in her pregnancy and a cascade of dramatic conflicts involving the powerful Valladolid family.
