In January 1998, this slice-of-life series premiered, changing the way stories were told on local television and immortalising two beloved characters: Roxy and Panigazzi. Featuring memorable performances by Mercedes Morán and Juan Leyrado, Gasoleros, its title a distinctly local term, reflects Argentine customs, habits, and neighbourhood culture through characters representing everyday people in the country's society.
