Cast Genders

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting very frustrated when adding cast to shows to find that although the person you're adding already exists in the db from another show, they have no gender associated with them on their profile page?
If somebody is adding a person to the db, how hard is it to add if they are male or female? It's just one click extra, lol.

I would really like it if, when creating a new person, you could not 'Submit' it unless a gender has been selected.

Seeing someone appear in a show as "Themselves" instead of Himself or Herself just looks wrong :)

Nope not just you. Annoys the crap out of me how often i come across cast that haven't had a gender selected.

Hi Tony,

You can't create persons without specifying their gender if done manually, however the importer makes it possible and we are unable to define any gender when we import them, which results in themselves.

'Eh, doesn't bother me that much, I double check the guest cast listings as I add them anyway, so it's not that big a deal. When I create a new listings I add as much info as I can find.
