Personal Schedule

LesleyTozer wrote 9 years ago: 1

Hi everyone, I have only just found this site via an email from the old LocateTV site which I loved to use, it kept a very clear record of all the channels and programs I personally watched on a day to day basis, however looking around here I found a bit (can't remember where now) where I could follow certain channels ok I did that, now I thought that when I went to the schedule it would only show me these channels but it doesn't it still shows everything that either is of no interest to me or is not actually available to me, so is there a way or where do I go to be able to set my personal preferences and to only see these? Also when I search for programs they either do not show listed in the Channel I watch the show on, so if I do a general search for that program it appears but for a different country and channel, no good me following it there.

Any help on this would be appriciated.

Currently we don't support personalised schedules or alternate airdates, however both features are up for suggestion here;

http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/238/customizable-schedule-page

http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/128/support-for-premiere-airdates-in-different-countries

if you like the threads in questions, the team here are working on implementing the list. In theory, the more popular a pending feature is, the quicker it should be implemented. But please do bear in mind the team here is fairly small and doing this alongside working other jobs at the same time.

I could be wrong but what I think what you're asking for is the Calendar option. Click on the calendar tab and there is a small box on the right with 2 options. My followed shows and Most popular shows. Hope this helps, if not ignore me :D

Not going to ignore you and thanks for the tip but I have already tried this, the problem for me here is that some of the shows I wanted to follow (if they can be found) only appear for Sky/US channels so feel like I am swimming down stream with this site at the moment..............................really really wish LocateTV never closed as that was spot on for my needs.

As said before, we only track the first airing for all shows, we do not track repeats and reruns, sorry.

What countries are you wanting listings for? I use http://www.tvguide.com/listings/ for US listings and http://www.tvguide.co.uk for UK listings, you can customise which channels are displayed on both sites and search for individual shows. This site lists the first airing of a show, if that is not of interest to you and its reruns you want, i would advise you just to use a tv guide for whatever country you are viewing from.

I already use tvguide.co.uk and more so these days and I have customised the channels for those that I can recieve and I use this as a 'at a glance' for current shows or to see what is on later however I can not track a series and plot which episode I have veiwed or when I can expect the next episode to be aired, channel 5 in UK have a habit of changing either the times, day or even switching it to one of their other channels, like 5* or even Spike, so again this is not giving me that option, in particular as Juan had said on the first showing is tracked, no use to me if this was on a US channel and I have to wait for it to shown in UK................the more I get to find out the less and less this site is of use to me, time for me to look else where I think.

For those who have tried to help me find a way I thank you very much.....but it's a goodbye from me.
