new status "ordered to series"

Can you make the new status "ordered to series"? For example, these shows are in the early development Brides of Dracula, Unveiled, Monstropolis, Friday the 13th,Luna etc., and most of those shows will not be on television because they will get a refusal from the network..But there are also ordered to series Notorious, Conviction, Riverdale, Legion, American Gods,Beyond and these shows will premiere in the next six months.

I would like to see a list of ordered TV shows and not the shows that will never be shown. I hope that you understand me :)

If programs aren't picked up, they should just be removed from the site. "In Development" would cover the others.

I don't agree that they should be removed from the site.

From the FAQ:

Explicitly not allowed are:

One-off documentaries

One-off made for TV movies

Shows where development is cancelled and the pilot episode was never aired/released

Sports events which are not tied to a single specific country, but are simultaneously aired in different countries. (Like FIFA World Cup, UEFA Cup, Formula 1 Racing, Tour de France, Wimbledon, Olympics)

Sports tournaments that premiere exclusively in a single country, but where the matches within a season/year don't always air on the same Network or Web Channel.

Ordered to series means it will air. It's covered by "Running".

Only if the show is running of course, if the show moves from been a pilot to been picked up and we know it's going to air then it stays 'In Development' until it does air :).

whats the point of having series listed that wont air eventually?

But networks will order not all shows to series. We will see only about 70% of the TV series from the entire list. That's why I suggested to add only shows that are sure to be shown on TV.

If series in development are eventually not ordered and left alone without any tv airing, we simply delete it.

Indeed, I think this would be redundant. For any "In Development" show, as soon as we know for sure that the pilot will never air, it should be deleted.

Does anyone keep a list of shows added during pilot season so this can be done fairly quickly or is it more of a hit or miss as folks find them?

We would require some attention from members indeed, however press releases often report when a series will not be ordered, so we can delete them once we read them of course.
