Show request Rejected

I would like to add a series Batman and Robin 1949, but my application was rejected. Yes, this show was originally shown in theaters, BUT! This site has a page for series Batman 1943, then why I can't add the continuation of this series? Where's the justice?

And why thetvb id for this series (144771) was already taken, but this show isn't on the site?

TCM broadcast this series in 2015 anyway.

Series who did not air on TV are not allowed in our database. If some of them in our database are theatrical releases, they should be removed indeed.

Though I am being unable to find TVDB id; 144771 in our database.

But this show air on TV in 2015 on TCM!

So I think that it should be added

The fact that a cable network broadcasts a movie doesn't make it a TV show. Otherwise that would make pretty much every movie a TV show.

In fact, this is a film series,(like tv series, but broadcast in the cinemas before tv-series era) but not a movie.

If that's the case, Lord of the Rings and 007 should be added too, but we don't. We do not consider them as TV series.

I agree with Thomas here, then we would also have to add all movie franchises that are shown later on tv, for example: Fast and the furious, Harry Potter, LOTR and tons more :)

If it's "like" a TV series, but not a TV series, then it's not listed at TVMaze. TV Maze is for TV series only, as I understand it.

Please see http://www.tvmaze.com/faq/13/shows for the full inclusion policy.

TL;DR: Our definition of a TV show is something that premiered on television (or one of the approved web channels) and has at least two episodes/parts in a serial format, i.e. the two episodes should correlate to each other, air on the same network, and have an overlap in plot/cast/crew.
