FOX announced today they would not be picking up anymore episodes of the series citing poor ratings. I'm trying to find out what this mean for overall funding of the series as it was a three-way split among ITV, FOX and Global. I don't think FOX was the major player, I think it was ITV, so I don't want to mark the series as ended until I can find other news on what the other two players decide to do.

Looks like it's cancelled. Since its on ITV encore, i don't know if ITV will make any sort of statement, it's only the second original series for the channel that has gone to air so far.
From what I have read, this series is pretty much canceled. It used to be a co-work from ITV, FOX and a Canadian channel and all three canceled it.
Didn't hear anything either from the canadian channel or ITV. the quickest would be to ask Mangan on Twitter.
And it's the third original show that Encore has aired already. :)
It's confirmed now, it's cancelled by itv encore as well.
Sigh, one of these years I'll learn not to trust FOX with quirky television shows. :)
Too bad it was a fun little show.
yeah it was. It did well in the UK ratings wise, though, but i guess too expensive for itv by itself ? I don't know. I thought surprising Encore renewed frankenstein chronicles and not houdini. I don't think it did as well, but who knows.
