Is this anime really named like this: "il sole penetra le illusioni ~ Day Break Illusion"? Bi-language with the tilde (~) in between? I know that some animes have very weird names (when translated from Japanese), but I doubt that the original name should be translated in both Italian and English simultaneously.

Its official title is il sole penetra le illusioni ~ Day Break Illusion http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/07/03-1/crunchyroll-adds-il-sole-penetra-le-illusioni-day-break-illusion-anime

Ok, but if you follow on the first link you've mentioned, you'll get to the Crunchyroll's page for this series where it's titled simply "Day Break Illusion".

I'm not insisting, that it should be renamed, it's just kind of weird :)

The first link he stated says the name he is referring to?

Ok, but that's a news article. And here's the show page, Crunchyroll - Day Break Illusion.

As far as i understand, the original title for the show is half-Japanese and half-Italian "幻影ヲ駆ケル太陽 – il sole penetra le illusioni", which is, to my understanding, is basically has the same meaning in both languages. What's look weird to me is that only Japanese part is translated to English.

But again, as I've said before, I'm not asking to rename the show, I was just curious if the title is right, that's all :)

Well to be honest Crunchyroll is not the original network so according to the policy it's not actually the official name.

Crunchyroll has a broadcast licenses for many anime. All English titles for episodes and names are added from Crunchyroll on TVmaze.

To be honest, Gazza is right about this Horizon. Names should be written as per policy to it's official network, however I am not sure whether we should allow Japanese written names as episode title as Anime has viewers from all over the world.

I am not sure, Crunchyroll is an official channel and even the poster has the italian name on it, very difficult situation...

Crunchyroll is an official channel indeed, but our policy is to use names of the channel is premiered on, remember? However using the official titles the japanese networks are giving it (in Japanese writing) do not make sense too as Anime has a large fanclub worldwide, so as I said therefore I think it does make sense to use crunchyroll, but it is contradicting our policy.

Let's just ban anime :)
