I found your FAQ page, (http://www.tvmaze.com/faqs), but only by searching through the forum (which resulted in 63 pages of results for "fav", "far", "fan", "fat", and other near-misses). How 'bout adding a direct link on the green banner, just after "Forum"?
The full FAQ can also be reached through the Data Policies link in the footer. But I agree it would benefit from a more prominent placement :)

FAQ and/or ABOUT pages are what I first look for when discovering new sites like this one...before signing up or spending any time with them. I found TVmaze weeks before joining but did not sign up then (I keep notes) because I was 'suspicious' due to the fact that no links to FAQ or ABOUT could be found on main page. Somehow later I did see that /faqs/ was part of the data policies link in the footer. It was only after that find did I join.
I can't be the only fan that hesitates. I did come back but I'd imagine other fans have just passed through here.
I agree with the posts from 7 months ago - a more prominent placement or direct link to FAQ and ABOUT should be included in the footer.

Thanks...I see that now...must have missed it.Likely, months ago I had moved off of the front page right off the bat. So unless I went back to front page I wasn't going to find it. The footer is one (maybe the first) place I think most folks look for "About" and it's not there. Even the 'more extensive' page, while showing features, is not an "about"...nor a 'faq' really. I visit many new sites quite often and 'always' look for these pages. Good chance I also looked at the 'Blog' from footer and checked the dates of the posts...page is different now but I might have have seen 'only' 2-3 months prior dates and wondered. (Older dates here are not a deal-breaker though...actual show data takes priority...and some sites blogs are a turn off as they can be purely self promoting.) That said...there are only 7 blog posts appearing on that page and there are no additional blog pages accessible from there.
I strongly feel that adding site info like about, faq, contact us, etc to the footer should be a priority.

Then there's THIS About page...surprised you didn't mention it David...I only got here by going backwards first from Data Policies link in footer...
