Display week calendar

Cecile wrote 9 years ago: 1

Hi!

I have looked at the week calendar, and i found something weird. I don't know if there is already a subject for premium bug, but I haven't see one.

So the issue is that due to different timezone (I'm in Paris, UTC +2), there is a mix-up between the shows. For example, i have monday 26th between friday 23th et sunday 25th. http://postimg.org/image/w58h0it25/

Anyone else ?

Better, thanks !

But the weeks are from tuesday to monday. Not really damaging, and due to timezone, i guess

The current day is the first day in the calendar so that you don't have to scroll.
If you're on the last day of the week that would also be an issue. This way you get to see what will be airing in the upcoming days.

Correction: What I said above was one of the ways we discussed in regards to functionality, but we ended up not implementing it.

Oh ok!

Thanks for the explanation, I thought it was suppose to be week by week, but your way is better :)

Hi Cecile,

I provided incorrect information in my previous post. It has indeed to do with the set timezone in your users locale preferences.

If you're in Europe following US shows, it might be that a show from Monday will appear on a Sunday or Tuesday.

The system basically takes the shows you're following from monday till sunday and converts them to your set timezone.

Let us know should you have any more questions.

Just noticed the weekly calendar only shows Monday through Friday, weekends aren't included in the view.

The button for the next week's schedule ">>" also does not seem to work.

Weird as it works flawlessly for me and it does show weekends.

If there are no new episodes on a day, it's not listed. Try following a show that airs in the weekends and those day should start showing up. :)

Can you paste the exact URL you're on when the '>>' link does not work?

OK It started a new week and the Sunday programs are there.

This is the link for the weekly calendar in general: http://www.tvmaze.com/calendar/week
This is the link from the ">>" follow: http://www.tvmaze.com/calendar/week?filter=followed&date=2016-10-08
However it doesn't change, it's still the Oct 2 week of information.

That's very strange! Is it still happening today (monday)?

What's the setting of your "display episodes on the local timezone", "timezone" and "week starts on sunday"?

Yep still happening

Display airdates on the calendar and schedule in your local timezone is checked

Week starts on Sunday (instead of Monday) is checked

My timezone is set to -6.00 in order for the times to show up correctly (I'm actually -7.00)
