Calendar Show Correct TV Shows at Incorrect Times.

I'm finding that, although my timezone is set to west coast time, and my settings are set to "Display airdates on the calendar and schedule in your local timezone" shows display at 5pm which should be at 8pm for instance.

On the website, in order for shows to show correctly in my "My Schedule" page, I have to set my timezone to "New York" or east coast time.

And clues as to why this might be happening? Happy to provide more information.

I can't answer the why, but I have to do the same thing. I live in the mountain time zone, have to set to central time zone for the times to show up correctly.

Right. The feature doesn't work the way you think it does :) It's geared towards following shows from a different country entirely, not towards the odd case of the US with separate east- and west-coast feeds.

What happens is that we use the worldwide premiere date & time as the authoritative source, which means the east coast feed in case of US shows. If you enable the local timezones feature, that east coast timestamp is convered to your own timezone. So the time you're seeing is the time in your own timezone for when the east coast feed starts airing.

Thanks for putting that in perspective—you're right though, doesn't work the way you think it should ;). Will try that out.
