Folders for TV Shows

First thoughts are that those would make great filters for everyone to use instead of just being folders. (aside from the 'to watch someday')

That's an interesting idea! Will give this some thought.

I'd like to second this idea. I have a lot of shows that I'm currently watching, but only a few that I want to see on the "Watchlist" page. Really would help organize my shows on this site.

This idea is great and I hope the developers plan to work on this, because personally I don't like the WatchList with all the shows I imported from MyTvShows.org... Most of them were shows I had Archived because I want to see them in the future and/or I dropped them. Now I have a big WatchList and I have to use the Search function of my browser so I can find the Show I want and mark its episode as Watched.

I really think these folders idea would make this website more user friendly and organized, at least for people who like to have their WatchList organized and not in a big mess.

If not folders, then maybe something like a 'favorites' watchlist sorta thing? I have a lot of stuff that I plan to watch in the future, but don't have the DVDs yet, haven't quite gotten to it. Then when I do get to those I can put them into the 'favorites' watchlist with the current season ones I'm watching.

I don't know. Just flinging out an idea. Take with whatever grain of salt is needed. :)

I think a "tag" system would be more flexible than a "folder" system. On your dashboard you could add one or more tags to each show that you're following. Then on pages such as the watchlist or calendar, a "filter" dropdown could be added that lists all of the tags you've added. After selecting one of them, only shows that are tagged with that tag would be shown.

i see a lot of shows and i give up a lot of them to, so this feature would be usefull =) also a folder for favorites :P

Same here. For me this is the most important feature which ist still missing.

tagging shows with "favourite", "wifes shows", "rainy day", etc. would be great instead of folders, and then use it as a filter on the watchlist page. Great idea! :)
