American Dad issue!

It's even more curious, because according to the official episode guide, current season is #12.

But looking at TVmaze airdates (if they're correct), current season separation looks logical (-ish). Except for Season 10, which looks weird.

This discussion about the season numbering of American Dad has been going on for over 10 years, at tvrage there were also endless arguments pro and con :)
You can even search google for debates about this.

We have chosen to do it the way we have it now, tvrage went the same way back then.

Going by the prod. code BAJN09 which this site refuses to include, it's technically season eleven as in B is eleven after 9. Wikipedia is completely wrong as they have season eleven having only three episodes! By airdate it's twelve due to season ten being short because of the FOX to TBS move. This decided to make the twelve mid-season hiatus mark the season end.

Correction this site is doing the same and only having three eps in season ten

I am sorry, but we won't go into discussion over "American Dad" again, as I said earlier, this is been discussed for years and years, some sites do it one way the other sites do it the other way. We have made our decision too and this won't change :)

Why http://www.tbs.com/shows/american-dad.html and http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/american-dad/listings/ correctly state season twelve. This site is wrong because eleven and ten are suppose to be one season and Wikipedia is wrong because they split the first season as well as the FOX to TBS transition season.

As i said, it is ok that you think we are wrong, if we would change it, someone else would come along and say we are wrong :)

Frankly this site is the only one treating American Dad! correctly. :)

that stupid numbering at tvrage is one of the reasons the site died off and continuing that non-official numbering will be one of the reasons this site will probably end as well.

For complicated shows like this, you'll often find additional info in the show's wiki. If you try to edit anything under American Dad, a red box on top of the page will point you towards it: http://www.tvmaze.com/showwiki/view?id=215.

How is it complicated when official sites such as http://fastfox.com/, http://tbs.com/, http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/american-dad/listings/ and http://tvschedule.zap2it.com/tv/american-dad/episode-guide/EP00716445?aid=tvschedulestate it's in Season Twelve. Making unofficial fan sites like this one, wrong!
