The Wonderful World of Disney

This series is here on the site but it shows 1954 to 1964. The series really ran through September 1990 according to 3 sources, IMDB.com, Wikipedia.com and "The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows 1946 - Present", I have the 9th Edition of this book. I must admit that it had many name changes over the years as well as airing on all 3 major networks at one time or another, ABC, CBS & NBC. It began on ABC on 27 October 1954 and ended on NBC on 9 September 1990. Here is a list of all the titles this show had over the years:

Walt Disney's Disneyland(1954–1958)

Walt Disney Presents(1958–1961)

Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color(1961–1969)

The Wonderful World of Disney(1969–1979)

Disney's Wonderful World(1979–1981)

Walt Disney(1981–1983)

The Disney Sunday Movie(1986–1988)

The Magical World of Disney(1988–1990)

The Wonderful World of Disney(1991–present)

Now for my question which is do we have anyway to get more years and episodes added to this series so that it is more complete?

Thank you very much, Ron.

I would say you just add the seasons and episodes to our existing shows :)

Two things to note:
1. They were not all the same show with just a different name. The first one was much more focused on the Disneyland Park as an example.
2. They did run on different networks and should be listed as separate series for that reason.
3. There was a lot of overlap in content, so it could get messy trying to separate out when Davy Crockett ran for the first time and not repeat those episodes in later shows, as an example.

OK there were three things to note. :)

(four! four thing to note)

Hmm, now you have me wondering if they ran the 'Salty The Hijacked Harbor Seal' episode on all the renditions of the series as it gradually changed names.
