1. If The Tidal Zone aired in segments we will just keep it here as it's own entity but each segment needs it's own episode added and the respective episodes be deleted from the other shows. We can use Crossover episode notes here to cover what's happened with the pairing up with other shows.

3. No we would definately add an airdate I'm sure - we have a number of shows airing in the UK that crossover sister networks all have airdates added - but I'll clarify this with @JuanArango

yep I agree. the paramount+ airdate is fine for the special.

Please add air times for the following shows.  They all get listed with no air time (just a day, such as "airs Monday") which leads to API info retrieval having incorrect air times as, uniformly, midnight on the day in question:

White House Plumbers

Britain's Got Talent

Have I Got News For You

The Jonathan Ross Show

Alternately, can the show page be directly edited by a mortal user such as myself?  I don't see a way to do it.

Well, I think I figured it out and have changed White House Plumbers.  I'll update the rest that I've observed so far.

You could have shown a bit more gratitude for the amazing work @CosmicHowl has done for you :)

Why would there be any gratitude? They have continuously critiqued and criticised my edits for over 8 months now. I don't know if I've been specially chosen or if other contributors get treated the same way, but whenever I give a simple response to a query of why I’ve changed something it always becomes a debate with no thanks or apology. With the Total Drama merge I’d only been editing a few hours before they started double-checking and questioning my edits and now the same thing with Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune. They obviously feel that I am never correct so they have to supervise my editing and I have to repeatedly justify my edits.

I will finish the Wheel of Fortune season swap, but I think it's best for everyone here (and their mental health) if someone other than me responds to @Magitroopa edit requests in future as I am so tired of wasting my free time.

Cos 😊

I've added the 5 segments to the standalone special here- not quite sure what the airtimes/runtimes would be for these, so for the moment, I've just listed them all for 5 minutes at 19:00 on the same date.

And as a reminder, if this is what we are going with for this, then the segments on the respective shows need to be deleted + have the episode numbering refixed after they are deleted. However, I failed to notice last night that The Tidal Zone is also currently listed as a special under the main SpongeBob series too, so that would need to be deleted as well.

I'm terribly sorry if you feel that way- in no way am I intentionally attempting to target or harass you or criticize you in any way- at this point, I'm trying to follow the data policies laid out on this site, which apparently is now the incorrect thing to do. And as far as the 'questioning your edits' part, I'm mainly trying to provide more information for it to be decided what should be the appropriate thing to be done on TVMaze.

I again apologize and do not wish to do or say anything rude towards you (or anyone else). However, it feels quite conflicting when I am told to follow the data policies, and as soon as I do so, I am put in the wrong for doing exactly that. I do not want this thread (or anywhere on this forums) to become a 'drama' thread of any sort, so I will cease discussion of this topic unless specifically requested.

Actually I figured out how to do it and updated those shows.

And now they need changing back again please. The reason no set time was added is because they do not air constantly at the same time each week.

mmhere wrote 2 years ago: 1

They do air at the same time each week.  The only one that varies a bit is Britain's Got Talent, and by no more than an hour each time.  With no time listed at all, API defaults to midnight, which is off by many hours.   BGT, for example, ends up being listed at a time that is many hours before it actually airs.  Tools that use the API to determine broadcast time then cannot build a correct schedule.

Honestly they really don't myself and @TonyMayhew are the British staff members here we made those changes for that reason. It really doesn't matter what affect it has on the API.
