Hi,

Are episodes of TV shows that have only been released on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray etc. allowed to be added on their respective TV show?

Thanks,
Danny

If they were intended to be shown on TV and did not because of cancellation for example, the answer is yes, but the airdate has to be left blank.

Ah ok. I have found some episodes added on here that were straight-to-(VHS, DVD etc.) without intending to be aired on TV nor have they since their release. Should they be deleted or are they ok to stay:

* Have I Got Unbroadcastable News for You - Have I Got News for You S10 Special | TVmaze
* The Official Pirate Video - Have I Got News for You S14 Special | TVmaze
* Never Rewind the Buzzcocks - Jonathan Ross, Sarah Cracknell, Noddy Holder, Mathew Priest - Never Mind the Buzzcocks S04 Special | TVmaze
* Special - Micky Flanagan's Detour de France S01 Special | TVmaze

From my understanding those could stay as specials if they do not belong to any season, but also without any airdate.

Hi,

Please can the following be deleted from the main cast of Red Dwarf as they were not main cast members (Red Dwarf - Cast | TVmaze):

* Chris Barrie as Ace Rimmer (keep him as Arnold Rimmer, but he did not star as Ace Rimmer)
* Clare Grogan as Kristine Kochanski (only a guest actor)

Also, please can Norman Lovett be deleted from the main cast of the following episode (he was a guest star for thsi one):

* Nanarchy - Red Dwarf 7x08 | TVmaze

Thanks,
Danny

Hi, when adding crew to a show I never know what to do when the person is a "Vision Mixer". Is this a role that can be added, or is it known by a different name?

Also, is a "Camera Supervisor" the same as a "Camera Operator" or should this be a separate entry too?

Another is "Technical Co-ordinator". Is this its own role or could this also be one of either "Technical Consultant" or "Technical Director".

Any assistance would be great. Thank you.

Is Chris Barrie not credited as a star regardless of the character he plays, I can check my DVDs later if need be.

It's a tricky one cause he's not specifically credited as Ace in the credits of the episodes Ace appears, he's only ever credited as "Rimmer". On here, the three episodes in which Ace does appear have him listed in the guest cast for that specific part as well as the main cast.

On a side note there are four episodes on here in which Ace does not appear but Chris Barrie is still (incorrectly) credited as playing him when he should only be credited as Arnold Rimmer (White Hole -- Tikka to Ride -- Ouroboros -- Blue).

If Chris Barrie is only ever credited as starring regardless of which role he plays, that's how we should display him. As far as I remember both characters are referred to as Rimmer regardless too right?

Thanks, that makes sense.

But in that case Chris Barrie as Ace Rimmer will need to be deleted from the cast of the following episodes as he did not appear: White Hole -- Tikka to Ride -- Ouroboros -- Blue

And be deleted from the guest cast of these episodes (as he is already listed in the main cast): Dimension Jump -- Emohawk - Polymorph II -- Stoke Me a Clipper

Thanks

I think all your Red Dwarf requests are done however we may need to look at each of the main cast here as it looks like they have different characters appearing as guest stars as well, which if they aren't credited in that way we should be moving these to starring roles too.

There are also mistakes in episode list of TV series "Phantom 2040" ('94-'96). The 1st season consists of 20 episodes and the 2nd starts with "Rite of Passage", consisting of 15 episodes. As you can see in "Wikipedia's" episode list, the episodes "Rite of Passage" & "The World is My Jungle" are recaps in two parts of the whole previous season! Also I confirm that the intro is changing from the "Rite of Passage". It seems that the last two episodes didn't aired in the previous season (I just don't know the reason, but we could search for a trivia, there should be somewhere an explanation...) and they were aired right before 2nd season starts with "Rite of Passage"! You can check the intros by yourself and the recaps of first two episodes of 2nd season, "Rite of Passage" & "The World is My Jungle" if you like.

bump

Also the episode's title "Sex, Lies & Decaf" need to be corrected.

We list the episodes in the order they aired, so while I agree with you it looks weird, the way we have hem listed is how they aired.

If they are listed differently on a DVD release or something similar we could make a alternate list for that.

Also the episode's title "Sex, Lies & Decaf" need to be corrected.

Done :)

I didn't asked you to change the order, just to place the first 2 episodes of the 2nd season as last two on 1st season, keeping release dates as they are. It doesn't change the order, just places them where they trully belong, where 2nd season starts with those 2 recap episodes and new intro of the new season.
