Considering that it's a interview with the person the documentary is about and that there is a 5 month gap between this episode and the rest of the show and also with the episode name being what it is I still think listing it as a significant special is the most accuate.

That is 100% incorrect. The documentary is regarding a person that is in prison and in the first episode the main interviewed is his father because in the first episode their are trying to build up the character but there are other interviews (journalists, police, family from the other side). And they clearly state at the begining of the first episode that this is THE FIRST episode of a series and that the rest will air as soon as sentence has taken place.

I know IMDb says there are in fact two different people with those names, but I believe they have the South Sidecredit on the wrong person- I'm pretty sure as far as the two listed here on TVMaze go, they are the same person. The person IMDB has listed as 'Mitch' Marchand is definitely not the one in that South Side episode.

And as far as which should be the actual name and which should be the AKA for him, not sure. I believe he has gone by Mitchell Marchand for some credits, but for the recent Golden Globes, he is credited at Mitch Marchand.

You may be correct, but we never actually see 'yoga thug' in South Side to be sure - both thugs are behind the frosted glass
