Edit Requests

Apologies for the repost, but this appears to have been missed from the above requests.

TBS' website speaks of a new season starting at 4 november 2025, which indicates to me that those episodes airing in November 2025 should be season 3.

Quote of TBS

New season premieres November 4 ... Fire performers, a Rock 'n' Roll father-daughter duo, and bubbleologists have a chance to traverse three of the most .

That appears to be just how they are labelling it for whatever reason, though is incorrect, as shown that the episodes are listed under season 2 on Gracenote/Zap2it, and it was previously cancelled, noting that it would not be getting a third season:

via TVLine - Wipeout Revival Among Cancellations At TBS

Wipeout's second (and final) season kicked off in November 2023 and ran for five weeks... took a year-long hiatus... and most recently aired on Jan. 26 of this year; "a few more episodes" reportedly have yet to air.

via Deadline - Sports, Pets & Movies: Jason Sarlanis On T-Nets’ Unscripted Strategy, “There’s A Lot Of Hours To Fill”

TNT previously had The Cube, hosted by former NBA star Dwyane Wade, and has a few more episodes of Wipeout, but is set to end after these air.

EDIT: The Futon Critic also lists season 9 as having 20 episodes (it is combined with the original Wipeout series for whatever reason there, so season 1 of the 2021 revival is season 8 overall, meaning season 2 of the 2021 revival is season 9 overall)

Yes I understand, however TBS specifically states on their website that it is a ''NEW SEASON'' and I think that's the way to go. Futoncritic, deadline and TVline are all third parties that wrote/edited those articles based on a report in February 2025. Maybe TBS decided to not cancel it in the end, but the official trailer of TBS and their website both state a new season.

Youtube Promo. This is the promo (not an official account, however it is copied by an user straight from TBS website (verified it)). TBS gets precedence over futon and deadline and we would only be confirmed whether it is a new season or not when that first episode airs on 4 november, but for now TBS clearly states a new season.

TBS itself has listed 2 seasons as already aired and calling for a new season on 4 november, which should according to their information be season 3.

So I presume despite what they are advertising, if the episode aired on November 4 is added to their website as S2 E15, it shall be updated here accordingly? Because if everything is still the same, they've aired 14 out of 20 episodes for season 2, and the season 3 listed here would be only 6 episodes.

I'd say let's wait until 4th november indeed and sees what TBS decides to do or to list it as.

https://www.cc.com/tv-schedule

According to the comedy Central tv schedule this episode is listed as Season 28 Episode 1.

https://www.paramountpressexpress.com/comedy-central/shows/south-park/releases/?view=111787-south-park-to-continue-on-wednesday-september-24th-at-10pm-etpt-on-comedy-central

But according to the press release it's a new episode not sure which it is.

Am not sure if this is listed correctly as new episode or needs fixed to be a new season because two items conflict with each other the press release and the comedy Central official website.

Thanks I wasn't sure since both websites conflicted with each other and they are both official sites.
