Speaking of double episodes, what about The Good Place s02? No interruption between the two "parts", one credit sequence but separate credits for the writers (the director, instead, is one). I would tend to say they should be merged into 1 episode, but asking for confirmation! ;)

Also, in case they actually need to be merged (ie, episode 2 to be deleted), can the subsequent episodes be renumbered with some massive tool? It's just 11 of them, but if that can be done it's certainly better!

Thanks!

From the faq "If there are separate cast- or crew-credits for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created." so they are listed correctly as two episodes

Although officially Netflix list it as 1 Episode - https://www.netflix.com/es-en/title/80113701

Netflix listing is absolutely irrelevant to the NBC's show. I suggest the next time you carefully read our episode policy, especially the part quoted by MTQueenie above, before messing with episode list, throwing out some episodes as you like. I've reverted your edits.

Considering it's an NBC show and not a Netflix show how Netflix, or any other network for that matter, choose to list it is completely irrelevant

Again, which part of the faq don't you understand. There are different crew credits so we list it as two episodes period. In future don't edit episodes in a way that that goes against our policy especially not when a staffmember has already stated that the listing is correct.

Please, check the subtopic: ''Episode number'' in the following link; http://www.tvmaze.com/faq/15/episodes in which our policy regarding this matter is fully explained.

on top of that actual on-screen credits and official press releases are taking precedence over their official site.

I watched it too, with the cast you are correct, the guest cast is listed at the end of the one hour block and is NOT separated.

But the writers are separated, there is one writer listed for part 1 and one for part 2 :)

As Juan stated there where different writer credits, i have added the screencaps in the episode gallery. Different writer credits means two episodes according to our policy.

Okay - Apologies

I also found an interview (http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-good-pl ... explained/) where the creator Mike Schur refers to the next episode after the 1 hour premiere as Episode 3.

Seems everyone else including NBC themselves are wrong.

No problem. Yeah unfortunately it's not the first time nor the last that the official network site contradicts their own pressreleases or on-screen credits, they sure don't always make it easy to figure out what's what
