30 episodes were filmed for the new season/revival of the show, with 21 of those episodes airing December 2018-March 2019. Last month, it was announced new episodes would be returning on June 12. Now, Futon Critic has updated, and as I suspected, the upcoming new episodes were filmed with the previous 21 (production codes #522-524).
Where this gets confusing/why I'm not sure what to do is that in a video in a tweet from the host, Howie Mandel, (at the 0:23 timestamp) reads, "Season premiere Wed June 12". They are saying it is the season premiere, but it is a part of the other season 5 episodes filmed. Would these still be considered season 5, or should the new episode(s) be moved to season 6?

Production code does not matter to us.
If an official tweet and the official site says its a new season we will treat it as such :)

The "recaps" are actually plot summaries from fandom wiki. Except for the first episode, which is taken directly from a manga description.

done, I moved them there from summaries a few months back, as they were way too long for being a summary.

The same situation here, it’s NOT specials, it’s actually TV-commercials and each of them run less than 1 minute too!

I am not familiar with the show but the summaries they have do not sound like commercials.
