The vast majority of Russian shows doesn't have an official name in any language besides Russian, because they never aired outside Russian-speaking countries :)

I'm trying to give English speaking users a better understanding of what the shows are about... Sometimes I can find the translation on the official sites, but most often I'm looking to make things easier to understand for more users...

I'll add them in an aka if I find them on an official site... seems like it's a no harm no foul situation to make the titles easier to understand for more people....

You are probably right, but there is yet a small possibility for it to happen if a third party is ordering it too and giving it an English name for example. Better ask than reject instantly, right? :)

@Pesky,

I know what you mean and I can understand you, however if we are going to translate every title to it's literal title in English, we'd have too many shows show up at a single search and makes it even harder for us to find the show we originally wanted to search, if you'd know what I mean? :)

You should be able to add an AKA without asking to be honest.

Considering the posters you've adding: we have a guidelines for the show's main image http://www.tvmaze.com/faq/42/show-main-images, please read and follow them. I've already deleted some of the images you've uploaded, because they are either way too small (186x230 is definitely not enough for the poster), or comprised of generic photo with generic font. Will check the rest of the images now.

I prefer to check it myself, it's faster and more effective :)

I want to add titles for episodes in season 2 but they are locked, please unlocked them so I can add titles

Where those titles are came from? I don't see any titles at the show's site https://www.mycanal.fr/series/versailles/h/5751633_50001 I suppose that's the reason of lock.

Do they have on-screen titles? Post the screenshots then, locked fields can't be unlocked, they could be edited by ranked contributors only.

Well, IMDb has episode titles for this show and any of the site there I look for this too. That wasn’t me who invent them, this titles are real. Many of the shows has episode titles even if official resources don’t write them. In different countries different traditions for this I guess.

Once again, we do not use IMDb as a source. Never. At least not for appearances, episode titles or airdates. You should've know that by now. I suppose "any other sites" are the ones taking their info from IMDb.

None of the official sources have any episode titles for the season 1. Not French website, nor Canadian. Not even Netflix or BBC for that matter.

Canal+ have French titles for seasons 2 and 3, so those are could be used. Season 1 have to be listed with generic episode names.

Hey guys, Alex Rider is not yet listed as a tv show, there is not network attached to it despite the fact it is filmed already. I'm not sure what's the policy here for this

Link to the latest article (there's been a few in the past week)

We cannot add a show wiithout a network or a streaming service, we will have to wait till the show finds a home :)
