Season consistency rule does not apply to specials, so there's no need to remove the airdate

But then the special will be listed on the wrong network.

That seems really bizarre especially since its been off air for 18 years and may only air the once now.

but tnt is correct, that is what the policy says.

Episodes missing

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt12937604/episodes/?season=1

if you look at the dates on imdb, you can see that something is really messed up there :)

Oh yeah I'm not disputing that, I just find it odd that it would still have an airdate after so long off air.

If the BBC are going to make it a annual special or commission a reboot based off the specials success then maybe it could be included. If not then if we're keeping it on that guide I would strip the air date and make a note in the summary that the episode is airing on BBC instead of ITV. What do you think @TonyMayhew ?

To keep it in the guide & for it to be included in the schedule with the correct network, I think the only way to add it is to add it as a year based special, rather than a season number.

If the BBC do commission a reboot at a later date, the special could then be moved to it.

Hmm as if stands I aren't even sure our listing is correct it originally aired on BBC then aired two "revivals" years later with different hosts each time. I don't know if we'd be able to find anything about the production companies involved each time to know if these were actually classed as reboots or not at the time. But I don't think a BBC commission would then be continued years later as a ITV show.

Considering https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/52523/the-book-of-boba-fett

Someone obviously jumped the gun with this one. There's literally zero official information except for the name and month/year of release. Everything else is just rumors and speculations. It could be anything - a series, a special episode, a Disney+ movie, or even a theatrical film. IMO it should've not been added, because (again) there's no official confirmation of it being a series.

@gazza911 @JuanArango @Thomas what do you think?

I think the scene after the credits of "The Mandalorian" finale point to it being a series. I think this article also points to it being a series.

I know i wasn't asked, there has been rumours online that Boba was to take the lead role in the next series of Mando and Pedro would take on more of a supporting role. This could easily be the subtitle of season 3 even.
