Inline Images

I recommend giving inline images explicit width and height attributes. With images lacking these attributes, items move around the page until it is fully loaded. That makes it hard to interact with the page while it is still loading.

Specifically it seems to be the TVmaze Premium ads that are missing explicit width and height attributes, and pages like the search results page that I have to wait for before I can click on any of the results. Other pages are also affected.

That's not possible in a responsive layout (the larger your window, the larger your image).

All images are served with caching headers though, so especially for things like the premium ads this should only happen once per device right? (Or until you clear your cache)

It happens every time. Here's why. Even though the image is cached it takes a moment for the page to render and for the images to be loaded into the page.

If the width and the height are applied by javascript then I see your dilemma. But if you're just talking about responsive css, then it should work.
