Show "Returning" year glitch

For example, http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/58/new-girl

It says Running; returning 2017 https://s17.postimg.org/ooi5hki27/Screen_Shot_2018-01-11_at_10.22.48.png

However, in season properties the year is blank https://s17.postimg.org/80qnf5067/Screen_Shot_2018-01-11_at_10.21.31.png

I suppose that's because 2017 is already ended, but in this case I suppose it should be removed from everywhere, no?

The season page only lists the current and the next 2 years.

So although it's currently set to 2017, you can't choose that option.

I've set it to 2018 now.

I know how this works and could set the year myself :) That's not the point, the question was different. If the year is already ended it should not be displayed as "returning in".
