As always, The CW isn't changing anything. As I read the article CBS will simply cut into the NCIS:NO rerun and join it in progress when Trump is finished.
That leaves NBC & ABC who plan to begin airing 2 hour shows @ 8pm ... cut in to join the Trump coverage @ 9pm ... pick-up from where they left off at aprox. 9:20 ~ 9:30pm when Trump is finished and push their schedules back the 20~30 minutes Trump coverage took.
So, do we try to account for that in the schedule for ABC/NBC and if yes, how?
I assume the system can not handle this situation so, just a suggestion, make the NBC/ABC shows longer by 20~30 minutes (make final adjustment when it's done and exact time known) and adjust start time as needed down-line for other shows.
Or, ignore the whole mess, watch Netflix and pretend nothing happened.
