Correct use of AKA?

The shows "Mysteries of the Abandoned" and "Abandoned Egineering" both consist of episodes containing "subepisodes" which look into different abandoned structures and huge machines. Taken as a whole both shows share the same subepisodes - but in different order and a different mix and match. Would AKAs be the correct way to show the relationship or should this wait for "relations between shows"?

So you saying, that the shows basically made from exactly the same pieces, shuffled in different order? This sounds like a duplicate shows to me. If they really made from the same footage, one of the shows must be deleted. It's gonna need some research though, to determine which show should be considered as original.

I'm not familiar with any of them, so a bit more information would be helpful.

Update: it looks like "Abandoned Engineering" is the original series, and "Mysteries of the Abandoned" was re-made by the same production company, Like a Shot Entertainment, with different narrator/host. Only the former is present on the company's website.

I watched briefly the same "minisode" about Chernobyl, from both shows, and while it definitely bears some similarities, especially in graphics, in general it's edited differently, and there's enough unique footage in both versions. Not to say that both narrator and narrated text are different.

I'd like more opinions, but IMO both can stay for now, and answering to your question – it is better wait for the relations feature, AKA is something completely different.
