Weird Android shortcut issue (maybe PWA related)

If I add my Watchlist (https://www.tvmaze.com/watchlist) to my start screen it appears kinda like an app, the chrome controls are gone and it looks clean - which is good, but the address changes to "https://www.tvmaze.com/?pk_campaign=pwa&pk_source=pwa" the site's "home".

Is there a way to make a shortcut directly to my Watchlist or is this a PWA feature where you always go to the home of the website because that's how a real app would work?

Hope I'm making sense. Thanks in advance.

The PWA only has a single homepage, so it will always go to that, regardless of which page you're on when you add it to your home screen.

You're not the first person to request this though (as recently as 2 weeks ago another user asked about it).

Ok, fair enough.

Interesting feedback, thanks! Right now we "force" the homepage as the PWA's start url indeed. I believe it's possible to leave that out which would make the browser use whichever page was open at the moment of PWA installation, but I don't think that would be a great experience because it might very well be a random undesirable page.

I think to make this work we'd have to create a specific "PWA start" url and make it a user preference to decide where to redirect.

Sounds very reasonable.
