Star Lori Loughlin has been cut loose by Hallmark ... what happens to the series now? She was in the middle of filming the August shows.
The show is cancelled according to the Futon Critic.

When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the schedule for now, but is NOT cancelled. They still have to decide how to continue though.
Perhaps a bit premature. They have, I believe, episodes filmed ... once/if this blows over they may reconsider airing them. Do you any other sources other than Futon that the series is canceled? All I've found is production has been suspended ... could turn out to be a recasting or a new character is introduced.

The production company halted the project two days before Hallmark. the first movie was to finish shooting later this month.
