I have a suspicion, that Discovery's https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/18383/homicide-hunter-the-kenda-files is nothing else than rebranded ID's https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3228/homicide-hunter-lt-joe-kenda. At least judging from the episode descriptions. Few examples below:

You mean that they're calling it "Season 5" in the premiere episode? Yeah, that's kind of suspicious :)

But that could be TV Guide's mistake, so not conclusive. I'll wait a bit, maybe someone who watches the show will shed some light.
