Airdates already been added (obviously), network has not been changed, the next episode is in 2 days. Could we make a decision?

Decision is to change it to the new network and use the new airdates from then on, the old airdates will stay :)

I will make a show wiki entry.

Do we accept this kind of action as the default for similar situations?
Maybe it should be explained in the "Airdate owner" chapter of the policy? Something about "When show permanently switching to other network during the season..."

In similar situations where still a lot of episodes are being aired on the new network we will proceed the same way as it is much more user friendly :)

Define "a lot" ;) 50%? 30? 25? What if episode order is unknown?

We should do this on case by case basis. For example if a season has 20 episodes and 17 have aired already and then a network change is coming, we should leave the remaining 3 episode dates blank, but if a season has 20 episodes and 12 have aired and 8 are going over to the new network, we should change the network and add the dates, especially when the show is continuing its run the next season on the new network.

Honestly, I don't see a difference if it's 1 episode left or 20. IMO the most "user friendly" [sic] thing we could do is to provide users with the correct schedule for the upcoming episodes. So they will see where and when the next episode will be aired and won't miss it. I mean, correct network and airdate of the future episodes are more valuable than past episodes in terms of scheduling.

I almost completely agree with this, but when a show has only one season and the last 2 episodes are moved to another channel because it got canned, then I would disagree.

Well, when the show moves from network to network it doesn't necessarily mean that it's canned. On the contrary, it could be moved to a bigger network, or for dozen of other reasons, and may be well living for many years on this new network.

I mean, I thought we were talking about running shows moving from channel to channel. The question about the shows which was cancelled by the main network and just moving to another for the final spin is actually covered by the policy :)

Then we are on the same page :)

Good :) So you must understand the importance of updating the schedule with the correct network and airdates immediately after the move, regardless of the number of episodes left in the season :)

Assuming that users are actually using our schedule for it's designated purpose :D
