Adding poster pictures to Nurses tv show and getting them removed by Thomas…

I would have messaged Thomas directly about this but there is NOT any way that I am able to in TVMaze's current format. So, the first poster that I did on Nov 13th apparently (I surmise from another comment that I saw Thomas make to another contributor) was not up to the quality that TVMaze tries to have. Today I saw all of this and decided to get a much BETTER and OFFICIAL image (the fist was an official image but was a lower quality). Today's image dimension was 1235 x 681 pixel and resolution of 72 ppi x 72 ppi. By the time I was finished, it's dimension was 1530 x 2163 pixel and resolution of 185 ppi x 185 ppi. I came to these numbers by studying other posters that have been on the main shows here at TVMaze that must have been approved because they have been there for so long.

Now the only problem with my image is that it is actually 1530 wide x 840 tall. which is the dimension of the ORIGINAL and OFFICIAL picture from the GlobalTV website of the TV show Nurses. And it is the ONLY one that they have produced to date. If they produce a different poster I would gladly upload that one instead, but to leave the current blank is just a crying shame.

The major point to all of this is that if a picture (or other parts of that shows description, etc. ) that someone has taken HOURS to research and try to make sure it is the best that they can find should not be delete so "willy nilly" without so much as a heads up to the person who may have take hours to make sure it was the best that they could do. The heads up would be so much appreciated especially if it included WHY the picture was deleted or changed, so that the original person could do better next time.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Cheers!

Are you referring to this image?

If so, it isn't really suitable as a poster, it's actually the standard aspect ratio for background (16:9) - full size.

I would also remove these as it's clearly not intended to be used as a poster (to prevent a back and forth, I'll wait until you've read this).
I would then re-upload the proper resolution image as a background and leave the main image blank.

It is a really nice background image and should be uploaded as such, a poster is completely different :)

To be exact here's the actual full size of that image, which would be 6775x3811 px.

Actually there is. You can talk to any user via their talk page https://www.tvmaze.com/users/1045/thomas/talk.
To get there click on username to open to the user profile -> three dots menu -> write on talk page.

And before you come to ask me, why I deleted character images you've uploaded, I'll answer right here: because they were not character images, but actor photos.

I would suggest you to read our policy in regards to main image posters, which you continue to fail to obey. I had to delete them again as a banner should not be added as poster. Simply adding white on top and below it will not do the trick and I continue to monitor any other posters uploaded by others too who fail to comply with our policy.

Thank you all for your input. The reason for the post was that the pictures were getting deleted without so much as a reason why, which frustrated the hell out of me.
