It's a whole set of images chosen by Juan, when he started a thread on image quality. I thought having a variety is better.

consider as a ''delete'' — delete based on what rules? As far as I know point of view alone is not enough do delete someone's work, however fruitless it was.

Maybe let's not discuss it here?

Oh I assumed you wanted us to go through all pictures haha and cast our vote per image, but apparently common sense in regards of photos is non-existent on tvmaze in regards to quality. This is also why I was against having editing stats on our page.

yes, that's was exactly my intention. if you think some image doesn't need a vote—don't vote on it ))

apparently common sense is not so "common" when it comes to quality, or else we won't be bothering with votes, rules and guidelines. i would gladly prefer to simply delete everything that looks like crap, but i doubt that this would be appreciated.

So you tend to prefer to negotiate with a specific user over and over again per photo? I bet by uploading several wronged photos, it would be useless to negotiate it. I'm a bit lenient to photos, but those who are ''really really'' poor I simply delete without any notificiation. It's useless to even talk to them I noticed as it takes a lot of time for them to really understand what is ''quality''.

And those photos I'm lenient to, I simply try to find a better photo to replace them, but of course that's not always able to do. 90% of the times, It just takes a few minutes to search for.

One usecase I'm interested in: are to use the negative votes for things that could have been missed. A certain amount of negative votes can trigger notifications or add these images to a list for double checking;

I'm more interested in what the not so obvious guidelines should be.

Take for example this image from that list, which currently has -1; https://www.tvmaze.com/images/570312/purgatory-image-570312.

The objects are clearly distinguishable and the lighting is okay; do people just deem the resolution/image quality not high enough?

this won't stop the user from uploading the same image again, it actually happened before. so unless the user know the reason why the image was deleted, simply deleting it could be not enough to get rid of it.

For me is more interesting, is there just one person who voted it down, or are there ten votes up and eleven votes down.

Personally I think this image quality is too low for episode from 2019.

I'm not a particular fan of this picture either. While I think it would be fine on a older or rare episode it is low res and have a massive logo for some random canadian network.

There's plenty of better sources for this show, do better.

The darker images aren't a plus. It's like a quote, if it's not really meaningful, why add it (i know you don't have quotes, but you get my drift, i hope)
