Supernanny series retun

So a series I watched many years ago when I was much younger, Supernanny, is now back as of last night (January 1). Didn't want to go ahead without figuring this out first- should this be added on to the current series or as a new series? Should be noted that this is regarding the U.S. series.

Points to help out:

-Original channel was ABC, this 'revival' (or whatever you want to call it) is airing on Lifetime.

-Jo Frost, who was in the original show is back for this

-Futon Critic lists the new episodes under "#8__" production codes, believing this to be season 8 instead of a brand new series entirely.

-Before January 1, 2020, last new episode was aired on March 18, 2011, according to multiple sources.

Considering that Lifetime themselves also list a new episode under season 8 https://www.mylifetime.com/shows/supernanny/season-8, I suppose it's a continuation.

Followup to this- I've recently helped clean up the Wikipedia list of episodes from the mess it formerly was. I've updated it mostly according to Futon Critic and Zap2it, and it seems to all be lined up perfectly now with the season 6 episode titled "100th Episode Special" listed as episode #100 in the list. Would just like to ask permission if I can change all episode titles to their correct title + correct airdate (if necessary) and reorder episodes if necessary. I'll probably also ask for stuff in the edit requests thread if necessary for episode movings since some seasons are currently incorrect here (for example, I've made sure everything is correct on Wikipedia, which lists season 5 with 21 episodes, while here, it is currently listed with 24 episodes).

Also including the link to my Wikipedia draft article just incase. Thanks in advance.

You seem to be missing an episode from season 5 (Manley Family), and yet 100th episode aligned, so I'm not sure if those listings are 100% correct.

Huh? I see a Manley Family episode listed as S05E06, both here and on the Wikipedia draft.

But, it's listed here as S05E23 as well..... It's not supposed to be three of them, is it? Two seems too many already... not that I am very familiar with this show.

Anyways, in season 6, "super-manny special" appears to be listed originally as ep. 6x10 https://web.archive.org/web/20111124013615/http://abc.go.com/shows/supernanny/episode-guide?season=season-6

@Magitroopa If you don't mind, do a quick check against the archived copy of the official episode guide (link above). And go ahead :) I think anyway it would be better than the mess we have now :)

Hard to figure out everything since only a limited amount is archived... but I've noticed some problems with it.

1. "Family Update Special" is not included in S1, making it 11 episodes instead of 12

2. The site lists 23 episodes for S5, even though it only goes up to 21

3. For whatever reason, I guess ABC didn't care enough to make a 'specials' section or a whole new series page and just put the SuperManny episodes in with the rest? Either way, that's originally what I did, which led "100th Episode Special" to be listed as episode #102 (Should also be noted that SuperManny is a backdoor pilot, considering the whole, "the network will decide whether to give Super-Manny a regular series pickup." thing didn't work out, probably better suited in the 'Specials' section --- Seems similar to how NBC lists the AGT: Champions episodes under S14, even though they really are two different series, but just listed together)

TV Guide also seems to list everything the same way I did- (1, and 2 - note how S5E1, "Quinn Family", is listed on TVGuide as season 5, episode 1, while the two SuperManny specials are just listed with their titles).

Anyway, our current listings have more problems. Edit it the way you've figured, it's definitely better than having episodes out of order :) Post here if you need any help with locked episodes or something.
