Bad airdate!

I am going crazy because of this error message: "Bad airdate! Show is scheduled to air on Saturdays, but this date is a Monday. Note that episodes airing after midnight should belong to the previous day's date."
What is the policy in this situation? I'd like to add a summary, but i have no energy to find out when exactly aired the episode, and i do not understand how this things are connected. Do you expect from people to make an edit request everytime they try to create an episode summary, or to mess with the seasons airdate, or just leave as it is?
Here is an anime for example (S01): https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/5205/senki-zesshou-symphogear

I agree, a change of the summary should not be looking at the airdate, I will ask david about it.

I suppose when one property of episode is edited, the system updates all fields upon save, hence the problem. If the last season have the different schedule, you will get this error. On the other hand, what's the point of keeping the schedule data after the show has ended? Clear the schedule and you can easily update any data for any episode. You could always look at past airdate, to know which day of the week it was.

Thank you, it is a great idea!
