I just wanted to check, if a special episode aired on another Network (in this case actually a Web Channel) - and never aired on the Network itself - can that be added?

if it belongs to the show...YES :)

Do I need to do anything whilst adding it?

In short: It's an OVA; in Japan [country of origin] it was only released on blu-ray, but in US it was streamed on Crunchyroll, having a date might make it seem like that was Japan's airing of it

However, the source (a specific network or a specific web channel) of episode airdates must be consistent within a season. For example, a show airs 10 episodes on FOX after which it's cancelled. A few months later, the final 3 episodes air on a foreign network. In this case, the airdate for those final 3 episodes must be left empty. - http://www.tvmaze.com/faq/15/episodes

Okay, I wasn't sure if the same applied to special episodes. I'll add it without an airdate then.

I'd like to request - what I believe we would class as - a Web Channel, though it's not as simple as that...

NOTTV - Japan - http://www.nottv.jp/

It's sort of a weird one; technically it uses the same Over-the-air technology that TV stations use, but is exclusive to the parent companies' brand of phone (requiring special hardware + antenna on the phone). You can read about it more here.

This should fit in the web channel category, I will add it now :)

She must be manually added to the episodes she appeared in, you can do that, as I do not know which episodes she was in :)

Hope i did it properly.
