No these are two separate shows. Lifestyle has just announced the second season, he first season aired years before on a different network, different cast, different production team.
ugh, I am sorry then I deleted it :(

Hi,
For the show http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/17155/my-hime, can you remove the genre Horror?
Thank you.

The new show is exactly the same format of show as the one that aired on nine which was dropped after one season in 2013, the rights for the show were then picked up by the Lifestyle Food channel to air a 10 episode season in 2015, yes it has new presenters and airs on a new network but the show itself is exactly same, Lifestyle calls the new 2016 season as the second season purely because it is the second season that they have aired on their network. In my opinion it was a duplicate listing but i'll leave it up to the mods/admin to decide.

You could consider this as horror I assume; ''Initially, the girls face off against monsters and a nefarious foreign organization'', but it is deleted
Hi,
For Show request #8940, I forgot to add the default runtime of 60 minutes.
Thank you.

hmm you got a point there, maybe we should think about it some more.
Hi,
Can you change the title of the show http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/17144/hoop-days from Hoop Days to its official title of Dear Boys?
Thank you.
Hi,
Can you change the title of the show http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/17130/get-backers from Get Backers to GetBackers ?
Thank you.

Not really. We've done this with a huge number of shows on the site already. If the show was dropped for 10 years then came back, we'd start a new guide. Of course the format will be the same, but the network itself is classing it as a separate show. It's the same as a game show ending on one network only to come back with new hosts years later on a different network.

Mostly you are correct, but for example with X-files we did not create a new show, even if it has been 10 years off the air.

But that's the same show airing on the same network, with the same cast and crew.

That is correct, but with Twin peaks it is the same, off ther air for ages, now coming back on a different network, still the same show :)

But this isn't the same show. It's completely different, one channel brought the rights from another. the production is different, the hosts and judges are different, the crew different, the network different

Shall we just stick to two different series guys? If what Tom says is true, it should be two different series.

Yes it does. I think it should be considered as two series. So if you don't mind, please create it again.
