A quick question, yesterday you guys added a show http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/7056/louislouise the show has aired 200 episodes but none are listed here, have you anyway of importing the episode data without someone physically having to add 200 episodes, the episodes are all listed on Kayiro the TVRage cache site http://www.kayiro.com/eplist.php?sid=22254

I am currently working on another site which is now using your API instead of TVRage and we are going through the process of linking all our shows to their equivalent on your database, once each show is linked they autoupdate picking up your show data, in the case of the above mentioned show we have all 200 episodes on our site, as it currently stands the autoupdate will wipe them all out, so if you could answer the above question it would be helpful. Thanks.

I was just filling in a request for a new show and was selecting the network for it (Showcase), you have this network listed in Australia as Foxtel's Showcase, the network just uses the name Showcase. Thanks

Yeah, nice work so far on finding small problems :)

This isn't currently possible, but if this applies to a lot of shows it's something I can investigate. The show isn't available on e.g. thetvdb?

Can you please add the network Yomiuri TV (also known as Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation and YTV) to your list for Japan?
Thanks.

Thanks Juan.

I had a question if there are two networks in the same country & language that are airing the same show at the same time (for example Detective Conan), which network should be used? For example for the show Detective Conan, it airs in both Yomiuri TV and NTV, so which one should be used? I think the only difference between these networks is the area/cities in Japan that air the show...

For this show; no its not and sadly this is the case with a quite a few shows in some cases they are listed but there is little to no episode data. I'm sure you are very busy but IMO it would definitely be worth looking into being able to import Kayiro data, TVRage was the king of tv show data, even TVDB openly admit that and to be able to access all that info through Kayiro for your site would put you to the very top of the TV show sites, it would also make people like me who contributed large amounts of info over the years to TVRage feel that my work wasn't in vain lol.

Keep up the good work with your site.

If one of those two networks airs the show first (even if only by an hour), that one should be used. Otherwise, the decision is pretty arbitrary.

I also think it's a good idea to have as many importmethods available as possible, but that ofcourse requires a lot of programming work.

For now the episodes are added ;-)

This is exactly our intention, by the way. Did you read our blog post at http://www.tvmaze.com/blogs/6/an-update-on-the-tvr...? It's just a huge amount of work and all :)

You can add the extra info/episodes by yourself and the dates will automatically change :-)

That date is automatically calculated by the connected episodes

Edit: They're bulk added ;-)
