It's a manual process that has to be verified by a staff member which is curating or higher, so depending on the time of day you could either be locked for some hours or merely minutes. So be a bit patience when it happens or you could give us a nudge, but it shouldn't be more than five levels before you're in the clear and won't be locked again (unless a member violates our policies that is :p)

I've been adding a LOT of episodes to a particular show (which I'm sure you're aware of under my username). But I just got a weird thing - I can't add a show from the past now since I'm not a Trusted Contributor. I understand that, but oddly, I COULD add episodes before. I'm guessing this is just another level in line with the "pending verification" path?
Just to add - it might be a bug? It's an episode I do not see listed, but apparently it thinks I'm trying to re-create an episode.

I'll leave the official explanation to TPtB who can probably explain better but you can NOT add an episode that previously existed here but was deleted unless you are a Trusted Contributor or higher. You could add an unlimited number of old episodes as long as they never existed before. Until you climb the ladder to become a TC, you'll have to post a comment in the Edit Requests forum asking someone to recreate the episode (Episode title, episode number, date aired info at a minimum) and once done, you can edit the entry. Yep, so just to clarify, you were able to create some episodes because those particular episodes hadn't been deleted before.
Only the ones that had been deleted, you aren't able to create.
This is different to the pending verification system, as unlimited edits doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to create them as you'd still be a Standard Contributor (rather than TC).
