Suddenly a lot of user profiles became "private".
This is not a problem by itself, however, it makes communication very inconvenient.
My suggestion is to keep the following buttons available even for the private profiles: view user's edit log, send PM, write on the talk page. Those functions are accessible anyway, just not in a user-friendly way.
