The Smurfs question

This is a peculiar TV show in a way that it was a mix of 20min and 10min stories ("stories", not "episodes").

It either aired a single 20min episode or 2 10min stories episode. But those 2 10min stories were treated as a single episode of The Smurfs with opening and end credits at the beginning of first and ending of second episode.

I see we have all separated which in this specific case probably isn't correct.

Perhaps we used epguides or wikipedia as a source:
http://epguides.com/Smurfs/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Smurfs_episodes

But it should actually be added more like this...
http://bluebuddies.com/help/smurf_episode_list.htm
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081933/episodes?season=1&ref_=tt_eps_sn_1

You should think that single episode is comprised of 1 20min story or 2 10min separate stories, and each individual 10min story isn't a single episode.

So, would it be alright to fix these titles or do we prefer to keep them individual-story-separated like we have them now?

And why is that? Because some website said so?

You forgot to mention that each story has a title card like this https://i.imgur.com/GF8zyt3.png

So there's nothing to fix, the episodes are listed in accordance with TVmaze policy.

No, when two websites have different listing, none takes preference really.
I have downloaded first two seasons and can see for myself.
Also, I watched this cartoon back in the 1980s so I remember it to be true.

Besides, wasn't our listing here added based on some website (probably wikipedia or some such which is no more trustworthy).

I did not forget. I thought that's self-assumed since I mentioned there are 10min two separate stories and since we have listed titles of stories and not episodes.
And yes, even though it's been 30+ years since I watched those, I do remember that such shorter episodes just immediately stop and second one starts with title displayed.
But the episode main opening "The Smurfs" title and opening video, and complete end credits (there are no credits in mid episode where first story ends) appear only once in those 2-story set episodes.

Also, keep in mind the show is marked as 30min. So if half or more episodes in our listing are 10min only, then you can see how that doesn't really match with how episodes were being aired. It matches only for those 20min episodes consisting of a single story.

So there's nothing to fix, the episodes are listed in accordance with TVmaze policy.

Okay, if you say so. Just thought I'd ask.

EDIT: Think of various TV shows that have 45min episodes, but occasionally have single story spread over 2 episodes. We keep that single story as 2 episodes (e.g. Part 1, and Part 2), not as single episode. Here with Smurfs it's just exact opposite. Instead of 1 story stretched across 2 episodes, 2 stories are compressed in a single episode because of their length.

The policy says so. You can always start looking for the answers by reading the policy, instead of guessing or making assumptions about the data source. In any case, on-screen data beats any other source.

-If there is a break between the two parts, two separate episodes should be created. Examples of a break are credits or titles appearing on screen for a second time; or a voice-over introducing the second part.
-If there are separate cast or crew credits for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created.

Each episode has a title card before it. Each title card has the name of the writer for this episode. I think it's pretty obvious, why each story is listed on its own.

The only thing which is not correct is episode runtimes, it should alternate between 30 and 15 minutes. I fixed the first 3 seasons, will get to the rest when I have some time.
