Season 2 episodes are titled Summer School: Chapter One, Summer School: Chapter Two, and so on.
But in the opening title the title screen says "Stargirl" with "Summer School" subtitle.
So, wouldn't it be more correct to name season 2 as "Summer School" and leave episode titles as Chapter One, Chapter Two, etc.?

Right now that could just be their new episode naming scheme, we won't really know until all 13 episodes are named "Summer School," after Chapter Five it could be something new, like how Black Lightning did. FWIW, CW's press site and official site call them that like it's the episode name, not a season name. I haven't seen anything of them promoting it with a season subtitle.

Yeah, you're right. We should wait and see after season 2 is done if things will change or not.
Could be something like here, where season 5 had multiple such chapters, but earlier seasons had a title:
